Dottie and Barbara, both well-known experts on vintage bears, will show you what to look for to identify them. Examples of different bears will be displayed with emphasis on charaxcterization, arms, legs, faces, noses, etc.

Barbara has been involved with teddy bears since the 1970s, buying and selling vintage bears and doing shows in 25 different states and 5 different countries. She has written articles for antique collector magazines as well as Teddy Bear and Friends magazine. Her business, Harper General Store, specialized in Steiff, Bing, Schuco, and early American bears. She is now retired, but enjoys participating in events like the Teddy Bear Reunion in the Heartland.
