Description
Participants will make a 7" Golliwog and his 5" tall pig. Celia won an award for this design at the 2009 GolliFest in Califonia. Assisting Celia will be teddy bear artist Kay Peck Meyer.

About Celia Baham
Celia Baham has been designing and making award-winning bears and friends for 25 years. She is the author of Costumed Teddy Bears: 14 Bears in Body Suits, a book that contains fourteen of her most innovative teddy bear designs. Recently, she served as a judge for Teddy Bear and Friends Magazine's TOBY Awards and also won an award for her golliwog design at the 2009 Golli Fest. Celia has won a Golden Teddy Award and taught at the John C. Campbell Folk School in North Carolina and Great Britain. Find out more about Celia and her designs on her website, celiasteddies.com.
About Kay Peck
Kay Peck has been in the industry for over 25 years. She worked in the cancer unit at her local hospital and she would make bears for the children in the image of the child. She has conducted classes in her home for many years and just recently retired from that. Kay has exhibited at several of the Clarion conventions in the past.
